01What this covers
Disputes resolved with preparation, and pressed to a conclusion.

Most commercial disagreements are won or lost on the record: the contract, the correspondence, the money trail. The firm's litigation practice starts there, with the documents, and builds the case the court will actually decide, whether the matter settles at the first mention or runs to judgment and execution.

  • Commercial and contractual disputes, including breach, repudiation and specific performance
  • Debt recovery, from demand letter through suit to execution of the decree
  • Injunctions and other interim relief, applied for and resisted
  • General civil claims, including negligence and recovery of property
  • Enforcement of judgments: attachment, garnishee and other execution proceedings
  • Appeals to the High Court and the Court of Appeal
02How the firm works

From instruction to result.

01

Instruction & assessment

We read the documents and tell you plainly whether there is a case, what it is likely to cost and what the realistic outcomes are. A demand letter goes out only when it serves the strategy.

02

Pleadings & strategy

The plaint or defence, the interim applications and the evidence are prepared with the hearing in view, so nothing filed early has to be unpicked later.

03

Hearing & recovery

The matter is argued through to judgment, and a judgment is followed through to execution. A decree that is not enforced is not a result.

the firm.

Tell us briefly what the matter concerns and how to reach you. Consultations are arranged by appointment; a member of the team will come back to you.
